Recorded in a Kashmir Street studio in New Zealand by Sean Donnelly (for anyone who might ask he is the keyboard player from the Pajama Club album and there is a mildly amusing correlation between the polished organic electronica sound of that album and the rough hewn, raw, upolished organic sound of this one in that this project kept getting interrupted whenever Neil Finn called him to go over to Roundhead to work on that album).
A few overdubbings were then made by myself back in my home in Australia and also the USA, courtesy of the genteel Southern Carolinian Ron Haselden of the rhopen You Tube channel.

Musicians:
Peter Mateer: vocals, acoustic and electric guitars, keyboard, percussion
Sean Donnelly: backing vocals, bass guitar, keyboard
Ron Haselden: lap steel slide guitar, cello, keyboard
Chris O'Connor: drums, percussion
Sandy Mill: vocal on World Called Paradise

All songs written by Peter Curtis Mateer except O Dwellers In The City Of Love, O Ye Seeming Fair, The World Beyond, music by Peter Curtis Mateer, quotations from the Writings of Bahá'u'lláh; Alexander's Wall, music and lyric by Peter Curtis Mateer, quotations from a poem by Hafiz and an unknown poet of another dispensation.

Many thanks to Tanya Kalantary for the album cover artwork.
